K2 Systems SingleRail Corrugated Roof Mounting Kit for 4 Modules Portrait is the complete mounting system for installing four photovoltaic modules in portrait orientation on a corrugated roof. The kit includes all load-bearing aluminium rails, clamps and hanger bolts and is designed for a mounting area of approx. 8 m².

The system in detail

The mounting rails

The core of the system is the K2 SingleRail 36, a mill-finish aluminium profile made of EN AW 6063 T66 with a height of 36 mm and a weight of approx. 769.53 g/m. The kit contains eight rails, each 2.40 m long. The K2 SingleRail 36/50 rail connectors made of aluminium with a stainless steel stop join the profiles into continuous mounting levels.

The roof attachment

Eight K2 SingleRail Climber HangerBolt M10x180 hanger bolts with an adjustable range of 37 to 44.3 mm are used for fastening to the roof structure. They are complemented by eight K2 SingleRail Climber 36/50 sets for holding the rails. The HangerBolts are made of stainless steel A2 with an EPDM seal, the Climber of aluminium EN AW 6063 T66.

The module clamping

Four K2 Universal end clamps Clamp EC 25-40 and six K2 middle clamps Clamp MC 25-40 in black secure the modules with a tightening torque of 16 Nm. Twelve SingleRail 36 end caps and twelve BlackCover SingleRail 36 neatly finish off the profiles.
