K2 Systems SingleRail Corrugated Roof Mounting Kit for 2 Modules in Portrait is the fully assembled substructure for fastening two photovoltaic modules in portrait orientation on corrugated roofs. All load-bearing components are made of anodised aluminium (EN AW 6063 T66) and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, designed for a module frame height of 25–40 mm.

The system in detail

The mounting rails

The kit contains six K2 aluminium profiles SingleRail 36, each 2.40 m long, made of mill-finish aluminium EN AW 6063 T66. The rails carry the modules and can be extended with the rail connectors if required. With a weight of around 769.53 g/m and a cross-section of 2.85 cm², they provide a stable support for portrait module installation.

The roof attachment

Six SingleRail Climber HangerBolt M10x180 connect the rails to the corrugated roof. The hanger bolt made of stainless steel A2 with EPDM seal has a total length of 180 mm with a thread length of 67 mm for screwing and an adjustable range of 37–44.3 mm for height adjustment. They are complemented by six SingleRail Climber 36/50 sets for holding the rails.

The module clamps

Four universal end clamps Clamp EC 25-40 and two middle clamps Clamp MC 25-40, each in black, are used to secure the modules. Both clamp types are designed for module frame heights of 25–40 mm and are installed with a tightening torque of 16 Nm. End and middle clamps are made of aluminium EN AW 6063 T66 with stainless steel A2-70 bolts.
