The System in Detail

The Solar Modules

The ten JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB Full Black are bifacial N-type modules in glass-glass construction. Each module delivers 500 Wp at an efficiency of 22.6%, resulting in a total of 5000 Wp. Thanks to bifaciality (up to 10% additional yield from the rear side) and the fully black design, the modules are suitable both technically and visually for roof installation. JA Solar provides a 15-year product warranty as well as a 30-year linear performance warranty.

The Inverter with Storage

The Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X combines inverter and battery storage in a single device. The integrated inverter offers four MPP trackers and accepts up to 4 kW of PV power. Via the grid-connected output, up to 2500 W of output power is available (version HB-4020-XM). The LiFePO4 storage with 4.02 kWh nominal energy features a BMS with 48 protection functions, intelligent cell balancing, and integrated aerosol fire suppression. With IP66 protection, the device is water- and dust-tight.
