Balcony Power Plant 4000W Hoymiles 4020 X Full Black combines eight powerful JA Solar Full Black modules with the Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X storage system. This lets you generate your own solar power and store it directly for use in the evening. With 4000 Wp of module output and 4.02 kWh of storage capacity, this set is ideal for anyone looking to noticeably increase their self-consumption.

The system in detail

The solar modules

The set includes eight JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB modules in an elegant Full Black design. The n-Type glass-glass modules with bifacial cell technology also make use of light incident on the rear side, achieving a module efficiency of up to 22.6%. At 500 Wp per module, this results in a total peak output of 4000 Wp. The 30-year linear power warranty and robust double-glass construction ensure stable long-term yields from your solar power.

The inverter

The Hoymiles HiBattery 4020 X has an integrated inverter with 2500 W rated output power. Four MPP trackers and four PV inputs make optimal use of the connected modules and convert the generated DC power into usable AC power with a maximum efficiency of 96.5%. The output power is controlled via the open system and compatible meters.

The battery storage

The centerpiece is the integrated 4.02 kWh battery based on durable LiFePO4 cells with over 8000 charge and discharge cycles. This allows you to store solar power generated during the day and use it in the evening or at night. At low temperatures, an intelligent self-heating function activates, and the housing is protected against water and dust to IP66. If needed, the system can be expanded to up to 16 kWh.
