The system in detail

The solar panels

The solar panel in this balcony power plant set is freely selectable in the configuration and converts sunlight into usable direct current. The HMS-1600-4WB microinverter supports panels with a typical output of 320 to 540+ Wp and can connect up to four panels simultaneously. The final number of panels and total output in Wp depend on your chosen configuration.

The microinverter

The Hoymiles HMS-1600-4WB is a single-phase microinverter with a rated output power of 1600 VA and four MPP trackers. It features integrated 2.4G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and can be conveniently monitored and configured via the S-Miles Home app. Thanks to the plug-and-play Flex-S3 cable system, a galvanically isolated HF transformer, and rapid shutdown, it combines high safety with easy installation. Peak efficiency is 96.70%.

The battery storage

The Hoymiles MS-A2 (HiBattery AC) is the first AC-coupled balcony energy storage system compatible with all microinverters. With a battery capacity of 2240 Wh, LFP cell chemistry, and more than 6,000 charge cycles, it offers reliable longevity. The plug-and-play design, IP65 protection rating, and app control via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi make the storage system flexible for both indoor and outdoor use.
