The set combines a powerful 460 Wp glass-glass module from JA Solar with the 800 VA Hoymiles HF-800-WB microinverter and is designed for anyone looking for an easy start into photovoltaics. A suitable battery storage system can be added optionally if needed.

The system in detail

The solar module

At the heart of the balcony power plant is the JA Solar JAM54D40-460/LB, a bifacial N-Type glass-glass module with 460 Wp peak power and an efficiency of 23.0%. The bifacial design additionally captures light incident from the rear, boosting yield. With its robust double-glass construction and elegant black frame, the module blends in visually on balconies, facades, or terraces.

The inverter

The Hoymiles HF-800-WB efficiently converts the generated direct current into usable alternating current. With a rated output power of 800 VA, a peak efficiency of 97%, and an MPPT efficiency of 99.8%, it ensures high energy yield. The integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module communicates directly with the S-Miles Cloud – a separate DTU is not required. The IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +65°C make it reliable for outdoor use.
