The system in detail

The solar modules

The four JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB are bifacial n-type glass-glass modules in an elegant full-black design. With a peak output of 500 Wp each, the set achieves a total output of 2000 Wp. Thanks to a bifaciality of 80% ± 10%, the modules also make use of light reflected off the rear surface. The 30-year linear power warranty and the low annual degradation of 0.4% ensure a high solar power yield over the long term.

The microinverter

The Hoymiles HMS-1600-4WB converts the generated direct current into grid-compliant alternating current with a rated output power of 1600 VA. It features four MPP trackers, allowing all four modules to be connected separately – this maximizes yield even under partial shading. Integrated 2.4G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable monitoring via the S-Miles Home app.

The battery storage

The Hoymiles MS-A2 HiBattery is the first AC-coupled balcony power plant storage system compatible with all microinverters. With a capacity of 2240 Wh (1.92 kWh usable) and robust LiFePO4 cells, it stores excess solar power for later use. This significantly increases your self-consumption and gives you a degree of independence from the public grid.
