Description

Balcony Power Plant with Storage 1000 Wp – Hoymiles HF-800-WB + HiBattery 1.92 kWh combines solar power generation and energy storage into a coordinated system for tenants and homeowners. With 1000 Wp total PV output and 1.92 kWh storage capacity, you can use your solar power even when the sun is not shining.

The system in detail

The solar modules

The system uses 2 JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB modules with 500 Wp peak power each, 1000 Wp in total. The bifacial N-Type modules in full-black design use a glass-glass construction and can capture additional ambient light via the rear side (bifaciality 80 % ±10 %). The n-Bycium+ half-cell technology achieves a module efficiency of up to 22.6 %. JA Solar provides a 30-year linear performance warranty and a 15-year product warranty.

The inverter

The Hoymiles HF-800-WB converts the direct current from the modules into grid-compliant alternating current. With a rated output power of 800 VA, a peak efficiency of 97 % and an MPPT efficiency of 99.8 %, it gets the yield out of the system. Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable direct communication with the S-Miles Cloud, so no separate DTU is required. The IP67 protection rating and a temperature range of -40 °C to +65 °C make it suitable for harsh environments.

The battery storage

The Hoymiles HiBattery 1920 AC stores 1.92 kWh in LiFePO4 cells with ≥ 6000 charge cycles. Thanks to AC coupling, it can be integrated into the existing system via a Schuko socket. Integrated self-heating, an internal fire extinguisher, pressure relief valves and the IP66 protection rating ensure safety outdoors. The bidirectional efficiency is up to 96.5 %, and operation is fanless at below 17 dB(A).
