The System in Detail

The Solar Modules

Two bifacial JA Solar JAM60D41-500/LB modules in full-black design are used, each with 500 Wp, resulting in a total module output of 1000 Wp. The n-type glass-glass technology provides a good efficiency of 22.6% as well as high durability. Thanks to bifaciality of up to 80%, light from the rear can also generate additional yield. JA Solar grants a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty.

The Inverter

The Hoymiles HMS-800W-2T microinverter converts the generated direct current into grid-compliant alternating current with an AC rated power of 800 VA. With two MPP trackers, both modules can be operated independently at their optimum. The integrated Industrial+ Wi-Fi module enables monitoring via the S-Miles Cloud or the Micro Toolkit. Efficiency is up to 96.7%.

The Storage Unit

The Hoymiles HiBattery AC (HB-1920-AC-SV) stores 1.92 kWh of capacity based on durable LiFePO4 cells with ≥ 6000 charge cycles. Thanks to AC coupling, it can be easily connected without modifying the existing system. Integrated self-heating, an internal fire extinguisher, and IP66 protection ensure safety and year-round use. Hoymiles provides a 10-year warranty on the storage unit.
