With 20 kWh of usable storage capacity and a three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW AC output, the system reliably covers energy demand through the evening and nighttime hours.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 8KTL3-HU is the heart of this storage system. With a rated AC output of 8000 W, the inverter operates three-phase and achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.60%. Three MPPT trackers with a DC/AC ratio of up to 2.0 ensure high yield from your photovoltaic system. Via the backup power connection, the system provides reliable home backup power supply and is VPP-ready for intelligent energy management. The inverter uses natural cooling and is protected against dust and water according to IP66.

The battery storage

Four Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery modules together form a storage unit with 20 kWh of usable capacity. The modules are combined with the inverter and the base to form a compact all-in-one unit. Thanks to the Battery Optimizer, different battery states of charge can be flexibly combined. The storage system is designed for expansion: you can later add further modules up to a total capacity of 30 kWh, adapting the system to growing power demand.
