The System in Detail

The Power Module (Master Module)

The Growatt APX 5.0M-B3 power module forms the control center of the battery storage system. It handles energy management at the module level and is compatible with both single-phase and three-phase systems. In single-phase operation, the master module delivers a maximum output power of 10 kW, and up to 15 kW in three-phase operation. Operating data such as state of charge, system voltage, and cell temperature are recorded via the CAN and RS485 communication interfaces and can be conveniently monitored.

The Battery Modules

The two Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 battery modules provide the actual storage capacity. Each module offers a rated energy of 5 kWh based on cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology, known for its safety and long service life. Together with the power module, this results in a complete system with 15 kWh of usable capacity. The stackable design allows for both floor-standing and wall-mounted installation, making the system flexibly expandable later on.
