Growatt MODA 20kWh All-In-One Battery Storage 4kW combines a hybrid inverter and battery storage in a compact floor-standing unit, providing up to 20 kWh of usable storage capacity. The system is ideal for households that self-consume most of their solar power and want a reliable backup power function.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 4kTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 4000 W. Three MPP trackers, each with one string, allow flexible configuration of your solar modules; the maximum recommended PV power is 8000 W. The inverter achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.6% and operates in a temperature range of -25 to 60 °C. The system can be conveniently integrated and monitored via RS485, CAN, USB, and app. Comprehensive protective functions such as AFCI, insulation, and surge protection ensure safe operation.

The battery storage

The battery storage is based on Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 technology and, in this configuration, provides an energy capacity of 20 kWh, made up of four battery modules. The depth of discharge (DoD) is up to 100%, so you can utilize nearly all of the stored energy. The all-in-one system, including the base, weighs approximately 208 kg in this configuration and requires a footprint of 590 x 255 mm. The integrated battery management protects the cells and keeps charging and discharging within a safe range. Growatt provides a 10-year warranty on the system.
