GoodWe ESA 20kWh Battery Storage All-In-One System 20kW combines a three-phase 20 kW hybrid inverter and four battery modules into a pre-wired high-voltage energy storage system. With 20.48 kWh nominal energy, you store your solar power and use it whenever your household needs it.

The System in Detail

The Inverter

The GoodWe ESA GW20K-ETA-G20 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 20 kW nominal power. It features four MPP trackers and a maximum PV input power of 40 kW, allowing generous DC oversizing. With a maximum efficiency of 98.1%, it operates with minimal losses. Via the backup port, it provides up to 20 kVA in the event of a grid outage and switches to off-grid operation in under 4 ms. The intelligent fan cooling ensures quiet operation.

The Battery Storage

Four GoodWe ESA GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 battery modules form the heart of the storage system. Each module delivers 5.12 kWh nominal energy (5.0 kWh usable) and is based on safe lithium iron phosphate technology (LFP). In total, this results in 20.48 kWh nominal energy. The modules are rated for at least 8000 charge cycles and equipped with integrated heating as well as aerosol fire suppression. The heating mode ensures reliable operation down to -20 °C, and IP66 protection guards against dust and water.
