Brilliant Interplay: The System Components in Detail

The foundation of your new system is the proven K2 BasicRail long rail system. Unlike segmented short rails, the sturdy BasicRail 22 made of high-quality aluminum easily compensates for minor unevenness in the roof. This allows your solar modules to lie perfectly flat. The true highlight, however, is the clever mounting principle: the fiberglass-reinforced BasicClip is screwed directly onto the high rib of your roof, while the mounting rail is simply clicked into the clip. Thanks to this floating bearing, the aluminum can expand in a controlled manner under intense sunlight without transferring enormous shear forces to your roof sheeting. A special BasicLock per rail strand serves as a secure fixed point.

The universal mid and end clamps (OneMid and Clamp EC) ensure the perfect and secure hold of the modules. They cover almost all common frame heights from 25 to 40 millimeters and give your system a high-quality look thanks to their black anodized surface. Mounting on the roof is done in a flash and without pre-drilling: the included stainless steel thin-sheet screws form their own thread without chip removal and immediately seal the drill hole watertight thanks to the vulcanized-on EPDM sealing washer.
