Growatt MODA 5kWh All-In-One Battery Storage 8kW combines a powerful 8 kW hybrid inverter with a high-voltage battery module offering 5 kWh capacity to form a compact, three-phase storage system. This lets you use your solar power in the evening and at night, while laying the groundwork for a later expansion up to 30 kWh.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 8KTL3-HU is the heart of this battery storage system. With an AC rated power of 8000 W, it operates three-phase on the grid (3W+N+PE/3W+PE) and achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.60%. Three MPPT trackers with an input current of 20 A per tracker and a maximum recommended PV power of 16000 W give you plenty of flexibility when designing your photovoltaic system. In backup power mode, it delivers 8000 VA continuously and up to 12000 W for 10 seconds, reliably supplying even high-inrush-current devices.

The battery storage

The Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery module complements the inverter to form a ready-to-use storage system with 5 kWh of usable energy. The battery is charged with surplus solar power on sunny days and releases the energy in the evening and at night, when your PV system produces no power. Since the inverter and battery are both made by Growatt, the components work together seamlessly and can later be easily expanded with additional battery modules.
