With 12 kW AC power and a storage capacity of 5 kWh, you lay the foundation to store your solar power and significantly increase your self-consumption – the system can be expanded up to 30 kWh if needed.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MODA 12KTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 12,000 W AC rated power and 12,000 VA rated apparent power. Its 3 MPPT trackers with a DC/AC ratio of up to 2.0 allow for a generous PV array with up to 24,000 W recommended PV power. In backup mode, it delivers 12,000 VA as well as a peak output of 18,000 W for 10 seconds and switches to backup power with a switching time of just 20 ms. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, the inverter operates efficiently and is also VPP-ready.

The battery storage

The Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 high-voltage battery module complements the inverter to form a compact storage system with 5 kWh capacity. The modular design allows for later expansion of the entire system up to 30 kWh, so your battery storage can grow with your energy needs. This lets you use the solar power generated during the day exactly when your household needs it.
