GoodWe ESA 15kWh Battery Storage All-In-One System 8kW combines a three-phase 8 kW hybrid inverter and 15.36 kWh of storage capacity in a compact, pre-wired system. The set is designed for households that want to efficiently store their solar power, stay backup-power capable, and expand flexibly later on.

The System in Detail

The Inverter

The GoodWe ESA GW8K-ETA-G20 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW rated power and a maximum efficiency of 98.0%. It features three MPP trackers and accepts up to 16 kW of PV input power, allowing significant DC oversizing. An integrated AFCI, DC switch, and comprehensive protection functions ensure safe operation. The dual-port design enables backup power supply; switching to backup occurs in under 4 ms.

The Battery Storage

Three GoodWe ESA GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 battery modules are used for storage. Each module offers 5.12 kWh of rated energy based on durable LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) cells, totaling 15.36 kWh. The modules are rated for at least 8000 charge cycles and equipped with an integrated heater as well as aerosol fire suppression. With IP66 protection, they are protected against dust and water. The modular concept allows for later expansion of the storage system up to 12 modules.
