GoodWe ESA 15kWh Battery Storage All-In-One System 15kW is a three-phase, all-in-one system combining a hybrid inverter and a high-voltage battery storage unit that stores your solar power during the day and makes it available again in the evening. With 15.36 kWh of usable storage capacity and 15 kW of inverter power, the GoodWe ESA system is well suited for households with high self-consumption.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The GoodWe ESA GW15K-ETA-G20 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 15 kW AC rated power. It features four MPP trackers and accepts up to 30 kW of PV input power, allowing for DC-side oversizing. In the event of a grid outage, the backup port ensures a reliable power supply via the integrated bypass function. With a maximum efficiency of 98.1%, IP66 protection, and an operating temperature range of -35 to +60°C, the inverter is also suitable for outdoor installation.

The battery storage

Three GoodWe ESA GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 battery modules form the high-voltage (HV) storage unit of this system. Each module delivers 5.12 kWh of rated energy and 5.0 kWh of usable energy, for a total of 15.36 kWh rated energy and 15.0 kWh usable capacity. The modules use durable LiFePO4 cells with a cycle life rated by the manufacturer at ≥ 8000 cycles. A heating function and aerosol fire suppression are integrated at the factory; IP66 protection ensures reliable operation. The GoodWe ESA battery storage can be expanded to up to 12 modules.
