GoodWe ESA 15 kWh battery storage all-in-one system 29.9 kW combines a hybrid inverter, battery storage, and intelligent energy management in a single three-phase system. With 29.9 kW inverter power and 15 kWh nominal energy, this set is designed for households and small commercial operations that want to store their solar power and become more independent from the grid.

The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The GoodWe ESA GW29.999K-ETA-G20 is a three-phase all-in-one inverter with a nominal AC power of 29.999 kW. It features 4 MPP trackers and a maximum PV input power of 60 kW, allowing larger photovoltaic arrays to be connected as well. Maximum efficiency is 98.2%. Via the backup port, the system supports backup power supply with a switchover time of under 4 ms. The inverter is cooled by intelligent fan cooling, enabling quiet operation.

The battery storage

The storage consists of 3 GoodWe ESA GW5.1-BAT-D-G20 battery modules with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. Each module offers 5.12 kWh nominal energy and 5.0 kWh usable energy, for a total of approximately 15 kWh nominal energy. The modules feature integrated heating and aerosol fire suppression and, thanks to the heating mode, work reliably even at low temperatures. The manufacturer specifies a cycle life of at least 8000 cycles. This means the solar power you generate during the day is also available in the evening and at night, giving you a noticeable degree of independence from the public grid.
