Description

The Deye SUN-MI-RELAY-01 (V2 Standard, Firmware 2.27) is the external grid and system protection device (NA protection) for Deye G3-series microinverters. For the models SUN-M60G3-EU-Q0, SUN-M80G3-EU-Q0, and SUN-M100G3-EU-Q0, operation without this relay is not permitted \u2013 it ensures that your system meets the requirements of the VDE-AR-N 4105 standard and can be legally operated on the public grid.

Your benefits at a glance

How the relay protects your PV system

The SUN-MI-RELAY-01 continuously monitors grid voltage and grid frequency. If these values deviate from the permissible range, the relay reliably disconnects the microinverter from the power grid, preventing uncontrolled feed-in. Once grid conditions are restored, the system automatically reconnects \u2013 no manual intervention is required. Communication takes place wirelessly via the microinverter's integrated WiFi module. Installation is plug-and-play: the relay's connector (A) is connected to the microinverter's socket, then the AC plug is inserted into socket (B) and connected to the household outlet. For G3-series inverters, a suitable adapter is additionally required. This way, you quickly make your Deye balcony power plant or plug-in solar system grid-compliant.
