Description

The Deye SUN-MI-RELAY-01 is the external grid and system protection device (grid disconnection protection) for Deye microinverters of the G3 series. It continuously monitors the voltage and frequency of your household grid and reliably disconnects the inverter from the grid as soon as the values leave the permissible range. For operation of the SUN-M60G3-EU-Q0, SUN-M80G3-EU-Q0, and SUN-M100G3-EU-Q0 models, this protection device is mandatory.

Safe Grid Connection for Your Deye Microinverters

A grid disconnection protection device ensures that your PV system is immediately disconnected from the public power grid in the event of a fault – for example, during a grid outage or if the permissible voltage and frequency limits are exceeded or undercut. The SUN-MI-RELAY-01 performs this function for the Deye G3 microinverters, which must not be put into operation without this device. Installation is carried out via the quick-connect plugs: the plug is connected to the socket of the microinverter, and the household-side AC plug is then connected to the socket of the relay. For the G3 series, a suitable adapter is additionally required. Communication between the relay and the inverter runs wirelessly via Wi-Fi, so the operating status can be conveniently viewed in the monitoring system. Using the built-in status indicators for grid and connection status, you can keep track of the device's condition at all times. Before installation, switch off the AC and DC sides of the microinverter and wait a few minutes before beginning commissioning.
