The Deye SUN-MI-RELAY-01 is the mandatory grid protection device (NA protection) for the Deye microinverters of the SUN-M60/80/100G3-EU-Q0 series. According to the manufacturer, these inverters may only be operated in conjunction with this external relay – making the SUN-MI-RELAY-01 a safety-relevant, mandatory component for the standard-compliant operation of your balcony power plant or microinverter system.

Safe Operation of Your Microinverter System

The SUN-MI-RELAY-01 communicates directly with the integrated WiFi module of your microinverter and continuously monitors grid voltage and grid frequency. If these deviate from the permitted range, the relay safely disconnects the system from the public power grid, protecting both the grid and the system. Once grid conditions are restored, the device automatically re-enables feed-in. Two status LEDs (COM for the wireless connection, AC/M for grid status) indicate the operating state; the SET button allows parameters to be adjusted and the device to be tested. Configuration is conveniently done via WiFi at the address 10.10.101.254. Thanks to the quick connectors, connecting the relay, microinverter, and household outlet requires almost no tools – only a screwdriver is needed for locking. As a spare part, the SUN-MI-RELAY-01 is ideal for replacing a defective grid protection device, ensuring your Deye microinverters continue to feed in safely and in compliance with standards at all times.
