Suitable roof types for the ValkBox 3:

Flat roofs with a maximum slope of 5 degrees
Roof materials:
- Bitumen
- EPDM (synthetic roofing membrane)
- Concrete
Level ground surfaces (e.g., in a garden or on a terrace)

Not suitable for:

Sloped roofs (more than 5° incline)
Roofs with a very uneven or unstable surface
Roof zones near the edge (only the "middle roof zone" is permitted per Eurocode)

Versatile mounting system for flat roofs and ground surfaces

The well-designed ValkBox 3 kit from Van der Valk Solar Systems offers a smart, all-in-one solution for mounting solar panels on flat roofs, in gardens, or on the ground. Thanks to the included protective feet, which ensure optimal pressure distribution, the system can be easily and safely ballasted with standard 30x30 paving slabs — ideal for bitumen roofs, for example. Alternatively, the system can also be secured using standard pipe clamps (not included). All components needed to mount one module are included in the set.

Easy Handling and Flexible Application

The ValkBox 3 is particularly well suited for situations where solar panels need to be safely mounted on the flattest possible surface — without drilling or damaging the surface. The wide contact area protects the roof material or other surfaces, making installation especially gentle. The system offers excellent value for money, easy handling, and quick assembly. Setup takes about 20 minutes and can easily be done by one person, though a second person can be helpful for alignment.

The ValkBox 3 offers panel orientation in landscape format with a tilt angle of 17 degrees.
