Description

The Dome SpeedPorter 2002300 from K2 Systems GmbH is a specialized accessory for ballast-based mounting of photovoltaic modules on flat roofs. As part of the proven K2 Dome mounting system (particularly Dome 6 and Dome Zero), it enables easy and secure fixation of ballast materials directly onto the aluminum rail.

The SpeedPorter impresses with its compact design, precise manufacturing, and high load capacity, making it ideal for use in professional PV systems. Its easy installation on the K2 BasicRail reduces installation times and minimizes material costs.

In combination with the rest of the **K2 mounting system**, the SpeedPorter offers a well-thought-out solution for flat roof installations, especially when roof penetration is to be avoided. Thanks to its compatibility with K2 Dome 6 and K2 Dome Zero, it can be seamlessly integrated into existing system concepts.

Technical Specifications

Dimensions: 200 × 80 × 15 mm
Material: Aluminum EN AW‑5754 H111
Maximum ballast load: approx. 40 kg
Sales/packaging unit: 10 pieces (Bag)
Weight per piece: approx. 58.1 g (Blank)

Function and Application

The SpeedPorter is used in practice as follows:

Two SpeedPorters are mounted at a defined distance on the **K2 BasicRail** (depending on the size of the ballast elements).
The ballast material (e.g., concrete blocks, stones) is then placed on these SpeedPorters with up to approx. 40 kg.
This creates a stable connection between the ballast and the substructure without the need for direct roof penetrations – ideal for minimizing roof damage.

The SpeedPorter is particularly advantageous in combination with **K2 roof hooks**, **K2 rail**, **K2 photovoltaic** systems, or when additional **K2 lightning protection clamps** are needed to ensure equipotential bonding and grounding.

Compatibility with K2 Systems

The Dome SpeedPorter is specifically designed for the **K2 Dome 6** and **K2 Dome Zero** mounting systems. It complements the product family of **K2 mounting systems** and harmonizes with other components such as BasicRail, Dome Clamp, Dome Mat, etc.
