Description

Sungrow SH8.0RT is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW AC rated power that combines your PV system and battery storage in a single device. It's suitable for new installations as well as for retrofitting a battery later on, and it keeps your home powered during a grid outage thanks to the integrated backup power function.

More Self-Consumption, Less Grid Draw

The integrated energy management system automatically controls whether your solar power is consumed directly, stored in the battery, or fed into the grid. This lets you use a significantly larger share of your own generation and reduces how much power you draw from the grid. With a charge and discharge power of up to 10,600 W, stored energy is available even when your household briefly needs a lot of power – for example when cooking, running a heat pump, or charging an electric vehicle.

Installation and Monitoring

The SH8.0RT weighs 27 kg, measures 460 x 540 x 170 mm, and is wall-mounted. Push-in connectors on the AC side along with MC4 and Sunclix connectors reduce installation time, and commissioning is done via the manufacturer's app. The device transmits its operating data to the free online monitoring platform via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or RS485; firmware and parameters can be updated remotely. Two units can be connected in parallel for backup power operation.
