Description

Stäubli MC4-EVO2A connector (male) is the original connector for the safe and durable wiring of your photovoltaic system. As a cable coupling connector from the proven MC4-Evo 2 family, it is suitable for solar cables with a cross-section of 4 to 6 mm² and is fully approved for system voltages up to 1500 V DC. Compatible with, among others, Aiko modules.

Key benefits for your system

Proven MULTILAM technology: The contact system has ensured a reliably low contact resistance of less than 0.2 mΩ since 2004.
High protection class: When mated, the connector achieves IP65/IP68 and thus permanently withstands moisture and weathering.
Durable and weather-resistant: UV and ammonia resistance make the connector suitable for all climatic environments.
Plug-compatible: The MC4-Evo 2 connector is fully compatible with the original MC4 connector family and can be assembled with a standard crimping tool.

Secure connection for your solar power

Every photovoltaic system is only as reliable as its connectors. The Stäubli MC4-Evo 2 connector permanently and securely connects your solar modules and cable strings, minimizing power losses through its low contact resistance. The integrated locking system ensures a firm fit, while the high IP protection class reliably protects the contacts from penetrating moisture. This keeps your solar power usable with low losses for many years. The connector is suitable both for field installation and for pre-assembled solutions and integrates seamlessly into existing MC4 systems. Please note the important safety instruction: never disconnect the connector under load.
