Description

The Deye SUN-SMART-CT01 is a three-phase smart meter that measures the energy flow between the grid, PV system, and consumers in your distribution box. As the link between the meter cabinet and the Deye hybrid inverter, it provides exactly the measurement data required for targeted self-consumption optimization and controlled grid feed-in. Measurement is bidirectional, so grid consumption and feed-in are recorded separately and evaluated in real time.

Precise Measurement Data for Your Energy Management

A hybrid inverter can only make meaningful decisions between self-consumption, battery charging, and grid feed-in if it has exact measurement values from the grid connection point. This is exactly the task performed by the SUN-SMART-CT01. Via the connected current transformers, the device measures voltage, current, active and reactive power, frequency, power factor, as well as imported and exported energy, and transmits these values to the inverter. All measured values can be read directly on the LCD display; RS485 address, baud rate, LoRa channel, and CT ratio can be set using the buttons. This allows the meter to be flexibly adapted to different installations and transformer sizes and to be easily integrated into existing Deye systems.
