The system in detail

The solar modules

The core of the photovoltaic system consists of 24 JA Solar modules of the type JAM54D41LB, each rated at 455 Wp. The bifacial N-type modules in full-black design feature a glass-glass construction and additionally use light hitting the rear side to generate electricity. The result is a higher yield with a low temperature coefficient. In total, this results in a PV system power of 10.92 kWp (24 × 455 Wp).

The inverter

The Solis S6-EH3P10K-H-EU is a three-phase, high-voltage hybrid inverter with a nominal power of 10 kW. It connects the solar modules to the Dyness high-voltage battery storage, supports up to 4 MPPTs for different roof orientations, and allows PV input of up to 160% of the rated DC power. In off-grid operation, it switches over in under 10 ms and briefly delivers 160% overload – ideal for starting pumps or air conditioners. The IP66 protection rating also allows for outdoor installation.

The battery storage

The Dyness Tower, consisting of three HV9637 battery modules (Tower T10 configuration) and the corresponding BMS BDU-1.5G Base, serves as the energy storage system. The stackable high-voltage battery storage offers 10.66 kWh of nominal energy, or 10.127 kWh of usable energy at a depth of discharge of 95%. LiFePO4 technology ensures a long service life of ≥ 6000 cycles. Thanks to IP54 protection, the battery storage is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
