The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

The Growatt MOD 13KTL3-HU is the heart of this battery storage set. The three-phase inverter delivers a rated AC output of 13,000 W and features three independent MPP trackers as well as an integrated backup function. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, it converts your solar power with very low losses. AFCI arc fault protection and bilateral Type II surge protection ensure safe operation of your system.

The Battery Storage

In this configuration, the Growatt APX high-voltage battery storage (HV) consists of one power module APX 5.0M-B3 and two battery modules APX 5.0P-B3, forming the APX 15.0M-S3 system with an energy capacity of 15 kWh. The cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate technology (LFP) is considered particularly safe and long-lasting. The stackable design without complex wiring simplifies installation, and the extended operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C allows a flexible installation location.
