The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MOD 12KTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 12,000 W AC rated power and a maximum apparent power of 13,200 VA. Three MPP trackers provide high flexibility in module wiring and allow for the use of roof surfaces with different orientations. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, the inverter operates with exceptional efficiency. Safety features such as AFCI arc-fault protection, Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides, and an integrated backup power function make it a reliable foundation for your photovoltaic system.

The battery storage

The high-voltage storage is based on the Growatt APX HV Battery 2.0 and, in this configuration, consists of one power module APX 5.0M-B3 and two battery modules APX 5.0P-B3. This results in the system designation Growatt APX 15.0M-S3 with an energy capacity of 15 kWh. The cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology stands for high safety and a long service life. The stackable design requires no complex wiring and simplifies installation. The wide operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C ensures reliable operation.
