The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

At the heart of the set is the Growatt MOD 7000TL3-HU, a three-phase hybrid inverter with 7000 W AC rated power. Two MPP trackers ensure stable operation of your PV system, while the integrated backup function provides backup power in the event of a grid outage. Comprehensive protection features such as AFCI arc-fault protection as well as type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides ensure safe operation. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, the inverter operates with particularly low losses.

The battery storage

The Growatt APX battery storage (APX 5.0M-S3 system) consists of an APX 5.0M-B3 master module and an APX 5.0P-B3 battery module with 5 kWh rated energy. The cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology used stands for high safety and a long service life. The stackable design requires no separate cabling, simplifying installation. The high-voltage (HV) battery storage can be flexibly expanded with additional battery modules up to 30 kWh.

Control & monitoring

The included Growatt TPM smart meter (three-phase) records the energy flows in the household, enabling intelligent zero feed-in or self-consumption optimization. Via the Growatt ShineWiLan-X2 data logger, all relevant data is transmitted to the Growatt app, so you can keep track of generation, consumption, and the state of charge of the battery storage at any time.
