The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Growatt MOD 15KTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 15,000 W. Three independent MPP trackers provide high flexibility for module configuration, while the maximum recommended PV power is 30,000 W. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60% and comprehensive protective features such as AFCI arc-fault detection and Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides, this inverter is the heart of your photovoltaic system.

The high-voltage storage system

The battery storage system is based on the Growatt APX platform and, in this configuration, is built from one power module (APX 5.0M-B3) and three battery modules (APX 5.0P-B3). This results in the system designation Growatt APX 20.0M-S3 with 20 kWh of rated energy. The stackable design requires no elaborate wiring and allows for a wide operating temperature range from -20 °C to 55 °C. As a high-voltage (HV) storage system, it operates in three-phase mode with a rated voltage of 750 V and integrates seamlessly into your home's electrical circuit – for greater independence from the public grid.
