The System in Detail

The Inverter

The Growatt MOD 12KTL3-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 12,000 W. Thanks to three MPP trackers and a maximum recommended PV power of 24,000 W, your photovoltaic system can be flexibly configured. The unit features an integrated backup function, AFCI arc-fault protection, and Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides. With a maximum efficiency of 98.60%, the inverter operates with very low losses.

The Battery Storage

The Growatt APX 10.0M-S3 is a high-voltage (HV) battery storage system based on cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells with 10 kWh of energy capacity. The battery consists of the APX 5.0M-B3 master/power module and an APX 5.0P-B3 battery module. The stackable design without complex wiring simplifies installation, and the wide operating temperature range of –20 °C to 55 °C ensures reliable operation. This way, you can use the solar power generated during the day even when the sun isn't shining, gaining significant independence from the public grid.
