The Growatt MID 12KTL3-XH is a three-phase PV inverter with 12 kW rated power, designed for larger residential systems and small commercial roofs. Thanks to a DC/AC ratio of up to 2, up to 24 kWp of PV array power can be connected – and since the unit is battery-ready right from the factory, you can add a battery storage system at any time.

Use Solar Power Today, Add Storage Later

Many system owners start out without a battery and add one later. The XH series is designed exactly for this: the MID 12KTL3-XH features two battery inputs, connected to the high-voltage battery storage via a bidirectional DC/DC box. The operating voltage range is 600 to 980 V, with a discharge power of up to 12,000 W. Backup power operation is also supported – this additionally requires a backup box, which is purchased separately.

For grid compliance in the DACH region, the unit already includes the relevant functions: grid monitoring, anti-islanding detection, residual current monitoring (RCMU), and Type II surge protection on both the DC and AC sides. Active power limitation (export limitation) can be implemented phase-accurately using a smart meter or current transformer. The optional AFCI arc-fault protection must be activated after installation. The inverter is communication-ready ex works via USB and RS485; Wi-Fi, LAN, GPRS, and RF are available as accessories, enabling 24-hour monitoring of your self-consumption via app. The OLED display with touch button shows all operating data directly on the unit. Growatt provides a 5-year warranty, with an extension to 10 years available as an option.
