The System in Detail

The Battery Management System

The Growatt APX 98034-P2 high-voltage Battery Management System, together with the APX battery mount, forms the basis of the Growatt battery storage system. The intelligent BMS continuously monitors all relevant operating parameters such as state of charge (SOC), system voltage, current, as well as cell voltage and temperature. Thanks to module-level energy optimization, battery modules with different SOC and SOH can be combined in one system \u2013 this also enables mixing new and old modules at a later stage. Communication takes place via CAN/RS485. [PLEASE CHECK: specific values for the APX 98034-P2 model are not listed separately in the series data sheet.]

The Battery Module

The Growatt APX 5.0P-B1 battery module stores the energy from your photovoltaic system. With a nominal energy of 5 kWh, a nominal voltage of 385 V, and the proven cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate technology (LFP), the storage system offers high safety and durability. The stackable design allows for easy installation and later expansion. This way, the Growatt battery storage system permanently lowers your electricity costs and gives you a significant degree of independence.
