The System in Detail

The Power Module (Master Module)

The Growatt APX 5.0M-B3 serves as the master module and control center of the battery storage system. It is compatible with both single-phase and three-phase systems and handles communication via CAN/RS485 as well as monitoring of SOC, system voltage, current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and PCBA temperature. In three-phase operation, the system delivers a maximum output power of 15 kW, and 10 kW in single-phase operation.

The Battery Modules

Five Growatt APX 5.0P-B3 battery modules, each with a rated energy of 5 kWh, combine for a total capacity of 30 kWh. They use cobalt-free LFP cells and, thanks to their stackable design, can be installed in a space-saving manner without any wiring. Growatt also allows mixing new and existing battery modules within a single system, so your storage can be flexibly expanded as needed.
