Description

The GoodWe GW20K-ET is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 20 kW rated power designed for larger residential and commercial properties. It combines the PV system, high-voltage battery, and household grid in a single device, achieving a maximum efficiency of 98.0%. The smart meter and smart dongle are already included in the scope of delivery.

Reliable backup power: In the event of a grid outage, the device provides up to 20,000 VA (24,000 VA for 60 s, 32,000 VA for 3 s) and switches over in under 10 ms.
Strong battery integration: 20,000 W charging and discharging power within a voltage range of 200 to 800 V – compatible with HV batteries such as the GoodWe Lynx Home F.
Rugged outdoor design: IP66 protection rating, operation from −35 °C to +60 °C, and intelligent fan cooling at only 48 kg in weight.

Increase Self-Consumption, Reduce Load Peaks

With the included GM3000 smart meter, the GW20K-ET captures the energy flow at the grid connection point in real time. Based on this data, it determines when solar power is consumed directly, stored in the battery, or fed into the grid. This keeps as much self-generated energy in the house as possible and noticeably reduces your grid consumption costs.

Features such as peak shaving and active load management are particularly valuable for commercial operations, where high power peaks drive up grid fees. The battery covers short-term peaks while grid consumption remains limited. In addition, the inverter enables the integration of further loads as part of sector coupling.

Monitoring is handled via the included smart dongle and the SolarGo app or the SEMS portal. Extensive protection functions are integrated, including insulation resistance and residual current monitoring, DC and battery reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding protection, and a DC switch. The DC-side surge protection device corresponds to Type II, the AC-side to Type III. AFCI arc fault protection is available as an option.
