Description

The Deye SUN-6K-SG05LP1-EU-AM2-P is a single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter with a rated output of 6,000 W. It combines photovoltaics, battery storage, and your home network in a single device, charging and discharging your battery with up to 135 A. Since it operates both grid-tied (On-Grid) and in island mode (Off-Grid), you can use your solar power flexibly while also securing backup power in the event of a grid outage.

Key benefits at a glance

Grid and backup power operation: The inverter runs in both On- and Off-Grid mode. In the event of a power outage, it continues supplying essential loads – with up to 12,000 W peak power (10 seconds) to start larger loads.
High efficiency: With a maximum efficiency of 97.6 % (European efficiency 96.5 %) and over 99 % MPPT efficiency, only very little of your generated energy is lost during conversion.
Easy retrofitting: Thanks to AC coupling, the SUN-6K can be integrated into existing PV systems. It works with lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries in the voltage range of 40–60 V.
Weatherproof and clear overview: The IP65 protection rating allows installation outdoors, while the color touch LCD displays all operating data directly on the device.

Full control over your energy flow

Using six freely configurable time windows, you can determine when your battery is charged and discharged – ideal for taking advantage of favorable grid tariffs or maximizing self-consumption. The system automatically adapts to your lithium battery's BMS and can be expanded with up to 16 parallel units for larger projects. Feed-in from a diesel generator is also supported. Monitoring is available via WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, 4G, or LAN, so you can keep track of your yields and consumption at all times. Numerous protective functions, such as anti-islanding, residual current, and insulation monitoring, ensure safe operation.
