Description

The Deye SUN-5K-SG05LP1-EU is a single-phase, low-voltage hybrid inverter with 5 kW rated power that combines photovoltaics, battery storage, and your home network in a single device. It is suitable for new PV systems as well as for retrofitting existing solar systems via AC coupling, and reliably connects a 48-V battery storage system (operating range 40–60 V) to your home.

Smart Control of Your Solar Power

With two MPP trackers, the SUN-5K-SG05LP1-EU gets the maximum out of your modules even under changing light conditions (MPPT voltage range 150–425 V). The charge and discharge current of up to 120 A each is automatically adjusted to the battery, as the inverter communicates directly with your storage system's BMS via RS485 or CAN. In up to six freely definable time windows, you determine when to charge and discharge – for example, to store cheap night-time electricity or increase self-consumption. If needed, energy from a diesel generator can even be integrated.

Through the color touch display and app connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G, you can keep track of generation, consumption, and state of charge at all times. Numerous protective functions such as anti-islanding, insulation monitoring, and an integrated DC switch ensure safe operation. Weighing 24.9 kg with compact dimensions of 330 × 580 × 232 mm, the device can be mounted on a wall to save space. The intelligent, low-noise air cooling system (< 30 dB) keeps operation quiet, and a warranty of 5 or 10 years (depending on installation location) provides additional peace of mind.
