The system in detail

The solar modules

The heart of the power production consists of 24 JA Solar JAM54D41-455/LB modules with 455 Wp each and a total output of 10.92 kWp. The bifacial N-Type glass-glass modules in full-black design also use light hitting the rear side, providing additional yield with appropriate mounting. With an efficiency of up to 22.8% and good low-light performance, they reliably generate solar power even on cloudy days.

The inverter

The Fronius Symo GEN24 10.0 Plus is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 10 kW AC nominal power and a maximum efficiency of 98.3%. It manages the interaction between photovoltaics, battery storage and the household grid, and offers genuine backup power with the full backup option. Two MPP trackers allow flexible design of the module array, while the integrated active cooling protects the electronics and extends service life.

The battery storage

The BYD Battery-Box HVS+ 10.2 is a high-voltage (HV) storage system based on safe lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. It consists of four HVS+ battery modules with 2.56 kWh each and the associated control unit, offering 10.24 kWh of usable capacity. Efficiency is ≥ 95%, and the application can be grid-connected with or without backup. Thanks to its modular design, the battery storage can be expanded at any time.
