The system in detail

The solar modules

The 12 JA Solar JAM66D50 GB modules are n-type double-glass modules with a bifacial full black design. Each module delivers a rated output that, in the set, results in a total PV output of 5.46 kWp. Thanks to the glass-glass construction, high bifaciality, and a favorable temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C, the modules achieve reliable yields even in diffuse light and at higher temperatures. [PLEASE VERIFY: The attached datasheet refers to the JAM66D50 GB series (645–670 W), but the set lists JA Solar 455W JAM54D41LB. Please clarify which module variant is actually supplied. The total output of 5.46 kWp is calculated on the basis of 12 × 455 Wp.]

The inverter

The Sungrow SH5.0RT is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 5000 W AC rated power and two MPP trackers. It combines PV modules and storage in a single device, operates with a maximum efficiency of 98.0%, and enables high self-consumption thanks to its integrated EMS. In the event of a grid outage, it switches seamlessly to backup mode. A smart meter and a communication dongle are also included in the scope of delivery.

The battery storage

The Sungrow SBH high-voltage storage system (HV), based on LiFePO4, provides 5.0 kWh of usable energy with one battery module at up to 100% depth of discharge. The storage system is plug-and-play, modularly expandable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation (IP55). This allows you to use your self-generated solar power in the evening and nighttime hours as well.
