The System in Detail

The Solar Modules

The 11 JA Solar JAM54D40-460/LB modules are based on n-type Bycium+ cell technology with 16 busbars and achieve a module efficiency of up to 23.0 %. As bifacial glass-glass modules with a black frame, they also make use of light incident on the rear side, achieving an additional yield of up to 80 %. The double-glass design provides high mechanical load capacity and low annual degradation of just 0.4 %.

The Inverter

The Sungrow SH5T is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 5000 W rated AC output and two independent MPP trackers. It supports battery operation (Li-ion, 100–700 V) and, thanks to the integrated 63 A bypass, offers full backup power functionality with a switchover time of under 10 ms. With a maximum efficiency of 97.9 % and IP65 protection rating, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. The included smart meter records your energy flows and enables optimal control of self-consumption.
