The System in Detail

The Battery Storage

The storage system consists of 6 battery modules from the Pylontech Force H3 series (FH10050), each with 5.12 kWh. Together, they provide a total nominal capacity of 30.72 kWh. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology with a depth of discharge of 95%. The manufacturer states a design lifetime of 15+ years and more than 8,000 charge cycles at 25°C. Multiple systems can be connected in parallel if needed.

The Hybrid Inverter

The Pylontech Force H3X-8K-HY-3P is a three-phase hybrid inverter (3/N/PE a.c. 400 V) with a rated power of 8 kW. On the PV side, it handles up to 12.8 kW of module power via three MPP trackers with a maximum input voltage of 1000 V. The maximum efficiency is 98% (European efficiency 97.5%). The BMS, inverter, and EMS are combined into a single unit, significantly simplifying installation and commissioning.
