The system in detail

The hybrid inverter

The Pylontech Force H3X-12K-HY-3P is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 12 kW of nominal active power to the grid. It feeds in at 3/N/PE a.c. 400 V and achieves a maximum efficiency of 98%. Via three MPPT inputs with an MPPT voltage range of 200–850 V DC, it integrates your photovoltaic system while also managing the battery storage. The backup power function operates with a switchover time of ≤ 10 ms. Communication and monitoring take place via WiFi, WLAN, and Bluetooth.

The battery storage

The storage system consists of seven Pylontech Force H3 battery modules, each with 5.12 kWh, which together form a total capacity of 35.84 kWh when stacked. The modules use a system voltage of 716.8 V across seven modules and achieve a depth of discharge of 95%. With a cycle life of > 8,000 cycles at 25 °C and a stated design life of 15+ years, the storage system is built for long-term use. The IP55 protection rating and natural cooling with no moving parts make operation low-maintenance.
