K2 SingleHook FlatTile sheet metal is an anthracite metal cover in the format 300x260 mm made of aluminium 3.0205 (EN-AW-1200) with butyl strips. It belongs to the SingleHook FlatTile roof hook (2004416) in the K2 SingleRail System. As a sheet metal cover on the roof, it seals the hook area when mounting a PV substructure on plain tile (beaver tail) roofs. Two covers are used per roof hook.

The key benefits at a glance

Matched to the roof hook: The metal cover is intended for the SingleHook FlatTile roof hook (2004416) in the K2 SingleRail System. With plain tile (beaver tail) roofing, this sheet metal replacement tile is required for the hook.
Sealing in the hook area: Two covers per roof hook ensure sufficient tightness at the point where the hook passes through the roofing.
Aluminium with butyl strips: The cover is made of aluminium 3.0205 (EN-AW-1200). The butyl strips bond it to the surrounding tiles.
Colour anthracite: The anthracite version is easy to handle at 0.044 kg per piece.

Sheet metal roof cover for the PV substructure on plain tiles

If you mount your photovoltaic system with the K2 SingleRail System and the SingleHook FlatTile roof hook on a plain tile (beaver tail) roof, use two of these metal covers per hook. The system is designed for roof pitches from 18 to 75°. The roof tiles should be dry and clean when bonding. For the butyl strip, application between 10 and 30 °C is recommended. Depending on batten height and roofing type, packing material of suitable thickness is provided for.
