Introduction

The K2 Systems D-Dome 6.10 Base Set L is a pre-assembled base rail mounting set, specifically designed for use on flat roofs with module widths between 1061 and 1170 mm. It is part of the established Dome 6 System from K2 Systems and offers efficient installation, high system stability, and proven safety.

The D-Dome 6.10 approach stands for double-sided module mounting with tilt-up supports on both longitudinal sides, allowing optimal structural performance and load distribution. The high degree of pre-assembly significantly reduces installation times and minimizes installation errors.

The system is optimized according to the latest K2 developments: K2 has further developed its Base Sets so that one set covers module widths from 960 to 1170 mm. The 2004095 series (for 1061–1170 mm) currently belongs to the “phase-out” variants, which will be replaced by newer sets in the future. Nevertheless, the 2004095 remains a valid option for existing plans with larger module widths.

Recommended Conditions of Use & Notes

Before using the set, the load-bearing capacity of the roof structure must be verified. Installation may only be carried out by qualified professionals, and all applicable standards as well as local building regulations must be observed.

When used in systems with lightning protection or equipotential bonding, K2 components such as TerraGrif or suitable K2 lightning protection clamps should be integrated. The set itself includes standard materials for connection and mounting, but not special lightning protection components.
