The LUNA2000-5-E1 is a high-voltage battery module with 5 kWh of storage capacity for the Huawei LUNA2000 S1 battery storage system. It serves as an expansion module within a modular battery storage system and is operated together with a compatible power module.

The battery module is the actual storage unit and is used within the LUNA2000 S1 system as a building block for capacity expansion. Operation additionally requires a compatible power module as well as the appropriate mounting concept (floor-standing or wall-mounted, depending on the configuration).

Battery: HUAWEI LUNA2000-5-E1

The LUNA2000-5-E1 is a single storage module of the LUNA2000-S1 platform. It is operated in a stack together with the power module and provides 5 kWh of energy per module. Sizing is achieved via the number of battery modules in the system, which allows the usable storage capacity to be increased accordingly.

The module is designed for robust environmental conditions (IP66) and operates with passive cooling. The lithium iron phosphate-based cell chemistry (LiFePO4) is designed to meet safety and lifespan requirements for stationary applications.
