The System in Detail

The Hybrid Inverter

The Growatt WIT 4K-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 4000 W rated AC output power. It features 200% overload capability for 10 seconds and a maximum efficiency of 97.6%. With two MPP trackers and transformerless topology, it integrates efficiently with your PV system. Thanks to its IP66 rating, the inverter is also suitable for outdoor installation.

The Battery Storage

The low-voltage (LV) battery storage consists of two Growatt ALP 5.0L-E2 battery modules with 5 kWh each, together forming the system designation ALP 10.0L-E2 with 10 kWh rated energy. The cobalt-free LiFePO4 cell chemistry offers a high depth of discharge of 92%, along with an integrated aerosol fire-suppression system and a heating film for operation at low temperatures. The modular, stackable design simplifies installation and allows for later expansion of this Growatt battery storage system.
