The Deye SUN-20K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 20 kW rated power that combines your photovoltaic system, battery storage, and the public grid into one intelligent system. The device is designed for technically demanding households and commercial operations that want to store their self-generated solar power, use it throughout the day, and rely on it as backup power in the event of a grid outage. As the current SM2 version, the inverter works with a 48 V low-voltage battery connection and a galvanically isolated transformer design.

Intelligent Use of Your Solar Power

As the heart of your energy supply, the hybrid inverter decides in real time whether the solar power generated is consumed directly, stored in the battery, or fed into the grid. Using six freely adjustable time windows, you can determine when the battery is charged and discharged - for example, to take advantage of favorable tariff periods. Thanks to 100% asymmetric phase loading, each phase can be loaded independently, which is especially efficient for uneven consumption in the household. If needed, the battery storage can also be charged via a diesel generator. This noticeably reduces your electricity bill and gives you a high degree of independence from the public grid.

Convenient Monitoring and Safe Operation

Commissioning and monitoring are conveniently handled: via the integrated interfaces (WiFi and Bluetooth, plus optional GPRS, 4G, and LAN), you can keep track of yields, consumption, and state of charge at any time via app. Extensive protective functions - including overvoltage, short-circuit, and anti-islanding protection, as well as compliance with the VDE-AR-N 4105 standard - ensure grid-compliant operation. With IP65 protection rating, the device is also suitable for installation in various environments.
