The Growatt SPH 5000TL3 BH-UP is a three-phase hybrid inverter with 5,000 W rated power that combines photovoltaic generation, battery storage, and backup power supply in a single device. It is suitable for single-family homes looking to increase their self-consumption while also protecting themselves against grid outages.

Performance That Pays Off in Everyday Use

Two independent MPP trackers, each with an input current of 13.5 A, reliably capture energy even from differently oriented roof surfaces. The maximum efficiency of 97.8% and a European efficiency of 97.2% ensure that only a small portion of the generated energy is lost during conversion. The battery charge/discharge efficiency is 97.4%.

Using the operating modes "Load First," "Battery First," and "Grid First," you control when the battery is charged and when it is discharged – either directly on the LCD display or conveniently via the Growatt monitoring portal. The export limit function restricts grid feed-in either overall or per phase.

The transformerless design operates completely fanless with natural convection; noise emission is typically 35 dB(A). Thanks to IP65 protection and an operating temperature range of −25 °C to +60 °C, outdoor installation is also possible. An integrated DC switch, Type II surge protection on both DC and AC sides, reverse polarity protection, insulation monitoring, and residual current monitoring are all standard. Installation must only be carried out by qualified professionals.
